The year 2020's summer, we will still be uneasy about the direction of the Rotary members-to-member link. While the "hands in space" principle is certainly a an integral part of our routine it is clear that the trust of Rotary has been growing and more people are forming contact with each other. Rotary is, however, evolved. We are in the in the summer of 2021, the level of uncertainty concerning whether Rotary can give the same kind of connection that Rotary members had in the before continues. While the motto of "hands-in-space" will always be a part of our daily routine It is clear that confidence is growing and we are able to make more personal relationships. Rotary has changed. Rotary has evolved. The way we conduct our business has been redesigned to ensure that we have online meetings within our businesses, while reintroducing events for service and social in an in-person format. Our newfound opportunities have combined with what we learned from previous outbreaks to provide a brand new outlook for Rotary. Rotary Support Centre team continues to supply valuable information and resources that help promote these many projects as well as ensure that the infrastructure is maintained to keep members and the public safe; compliance and insurance are essential. We are aware that volunteering through the network of Rotary will create lasting bonds based upon the experience shared of volunteering time to serve the community benefits. The inventiveness and creativity of our members when it comes to finding solutions to some of the most difficult challenges is incredible and I am so grateful that the chance to be a part of Rotary was offered to me back in 2002. Rotary along with other organizations, has provided me with a solid network of people with the same values as me and from whom I have developed genuine relationships throughout the past twenty years.
